We are a living community of people who can relate to each other in many ways.
Above all we are a group of people trying to make sense of living in our world, particularly at this time of worldwide crisis.
There's a place for you in our community, too.
Our aim is to be a family church offering activities and worship to suit all ages and encouraging a supportive Christian community, with a growing Junior Church, opportunities for prayer and Bible study, fellowship, music and community service.
At a national and international level, we are part of the world-wide Methodist Church and keen supporters of Christian Aid, NCH Action for Children, the Whitechapel Mission and other outreach projects at home and abroad.
Rev Kate Strange writes:
Greetings to you all; my name is Rev’d Kate Strange and I am the Minister here at Marlow Methodist Church, which has within it the Ark Café. Through the years that I have served this church and community, I have had the privilege to be part of the church, growing witness out into the community as the community comes into the church, seamlessly blending together as our doors are open 7 days a week, to groups, friends, families and those who are needing a friend to talk to. All find a warm welcome within our walls. Our volunteers hold a special place within our hearts as so many now have spent time with us, and we have had the chance to be part of their story of growth and change to new ventures.
Marlow Methodist church works best when we work together, and while those who planned the changes to the church could only hope for its future, we now look forward to a new vision of what God has in store for us all together. Isaiah 43:19 Behold I will do a new thing. We are a church that doesn’t stand still, always seeking God’s wisdom, justice and compassion through the power of the Holy Spirit as we move forward in faith, we look forward to welcoming you to joining us any day at the café, or at one of our many services in the church.
